This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It also describes how we collect and use phone numbers and SMS consent for messaging and A2P (10DLC) purposes.

1. Information we collect

a) Information you provide

  • Contact & account information: name, business name, email address, phone number, billing address, payment information (processed by our payment provider).

  • Business details: business type, service area, offerings, average job value, logos and marketing assets you upload.

  • Communications: messages and support requests you send to us (email, chat, helpdesk).

b) Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, timestamps, session data, IP address, device and browser information.

  • Analytics & performance data: cookies and similar technologies used to measure Site performance and improve experience.

c) Information from third parties

  • Third-party integrations: we may receive data from ad platforms (Facebook, Google), payment processors, and other third-party services when you connect accounts.

  • Public sources: business listings, social profiles, or public records.


2. How we use your information

We use data to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.

  • Create and manage your account and sub-accounts.

  • Communicate with you (including transactional emails, onboarding, billing, and support).

  • Send SMS/text messages and marketing messages when you consent (see SMS & Messaging below).

  • Monitor, analyze and improve our service and develop new features.

  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.


3. SMS & Messaging (A2P / 10DLC compliance)

When you provide a phone number, you consent to receive automated and manual SMS and MMS messages from Get Sails and our partners related to onboarding, billing, service updates, and marketing (if you opt in). Message frequency varies.

Opt-in: By entering your phone number and checking the signup box, you agree to receive messages. Example signup text on our forms:

“By signing up I agree to receive email and SMS messages from Getsails. Msg frequency varies. Msg/data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Privacy & Terms.”

Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from future marketing messages. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation and may send one final message to confirm your opt-out. For help, reply HELP or contact: support@getsails.com or [phone number]. Opting out of marketing messages may not affect transactional messages required to provide the service (e.g., billing confirmations), unless you close your account.

4. Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, and advertising. Third-party advertising partners (e.g., Facebook, Google) may use cookies and identifiers to show and measure ads.


5. Who we share data with

  • Service providers and subprocessors: hosting providers, payment processors, email/SMS providers, analytics and marketing platforms (e.g., Stripe, Twilio, Meta, Google).

  • Legal requests: when required by law, to protect rights, property, safety, or to comply with a court order or law enforcement request.

  • With your consent: where you request or permit sharing (e.g., connecting third-party ad accounts).

We require subprocessors to protect data consistent with this policy.
